What is it?
Bliss + Mortar will be physical locations where you can try (and buy) our pedals in person. They will be stores and gear communities that are linked to Chase Bliss in an authentic and special way. We plan to do somewhat regular in-person events at these select locations to really make it a true partnership.
Simply put, Bliss + Mortar shops are places where we want to support a small business and the community they’ve built and they want to do the same for ours.
Where are they?
Eastside Music Supply
Nashville, TN
We’ve known and been friends with Blair and Brandon from Eastside Music Supply in Nashville for over a decade. They, along with their staff, know our products inside and out. We are all buds and hang out and they have cool dogs and stuff. It just feels right to work together. We recently visited their shop to do a little event with our pals from Old Blood Noise and Andy Othling and we made a video to introduce them.
Relic Music
Red Bank, NJ
Relic Music is a small, boutique shop in Red Bank, NJ owned by Michael Nicosia. We met Mike at my very first NAMM show back in January of 2016. We were absolutely blown away by his knowledge and passion of our product line, and he made a big impact on us. This was before he pursued his dream of owning his own store. We've stayed in touch ever since and I think his store is a beautiful fit for Bliss + Mortar. We were fortunate enough to do an event at Relic a few months ago along with Emily Hopkins and Russ Fro focusing primarily on MOOD MKII.
Pedal Empire
Brisbane, AU
If you live in Australia or New Zealand, these are your people. They handle all shipping, repairs and returns of our pedals in your corner of the world. What's nice about Pedal Empire is that they are also a great store. Located in Brisbane, you can pop in any time and mess around with our pedals and buy them on-site. We've been working with Pedal Empire almost since the beginning and have developed great friendships with their owner, Matt Harris, family, and staff.
Will you add more stores?
We’ve decided that we are going to add a store or two per year in this way.
Can I buy online from stores?
Bliss + Mortar stores will not be allowed to sell our products online, only physically on-location.
Can my store be considered?
If you are a store that would like to be considered for Bliss + Mortar, please contact sales@chasebliss.com and we can have a conversation about that. However, I really do have to be honest that this is an extremely limited thing. We already have all of our plans made for 2023 and 2024. And I have a few ideas already for beyond.
What are all the ways I can buy from Chase Bliss again?
You may be getting confused at this point what our model actually is. In short, it’s direct-to-consumer with some very rare exceptions. It might help to spell all this out in a glossary of sorts:
Bliss + Mortar
The thing we are talking about now. These are places where you can try and buy things in store, but you can’t buy things online from them. To buy things online you need to visit a Hub on the interwebz.
Hubs
These are the most typical places to buy pedals from us (through our website). This is also where we ship & repair pedals. We currently have three hubs. One is in Amsterdam and services the EU (www.chasebliss.eu). The 2nd is in Brisbane and services Australia and New Zealand (www.chasebliss.au). The 3rd is in Minneapolis and services most everywhere else in the world (www.chasebliss.com).
Japan
We still work with a traditional distributor in Japan. They are called Umbrella and they are the best. There are many shops in Japan where you can try and buy Chase Bliss pedals.
