Four years after making a little noise in the Minneapolis indie scene with an EP and 7-inch release, Ghost Towns of the West are back with a debut full-length, Shadows In Light, released on April 7th, 2015. Produced by Timothe Catlin and engineered by Ed Ackerson at Flowers Studio, this record is the product of literal years of experimentation and self discovery.

Shadows In Light shows the band going in a decidedly more experimental direction than past material. While the basic tracks were recorded at Flowers Studio with Ackerson (it is important to the band to record basic tracks live for maintaining a certain “feel” in the tracks), many trips, hours, overdubs, and general wackiness occurred at Catlin’s Madison, WI studio.
